In a report sent to the Government and the National Assembly, Anh’s ministry said extreme weather conditions have left many hyower plants without enough water to produce electricity.
Hyower plants have seen poor business performance in the first quarter of 2019, which could give coal-powered and gas-powered thermo-electric plants more opportunities to produce electricity.
The country will receive adequate power this summer, Dinh The Phuc,
deputy head of Electricity Regulatory Authority of Viet Nam (ERAV) under
the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said.
